Following on from the success of her debut single Hell, Welsh songwriter Little Rêd unveils her dreamy second release What Love Is. Exploring the early days of a relationship, lingering on confusion and excitement as you are falling in love but not quite settled, the track builds in synthetic textures creating intensity and atmosphere.
The Bath-based musician’s euphoric explosion of electro pop has already attracted widespread praise from the online community (The Line Of Best Fit, Clash) with her hook-laden soundscapes and sincere voice creating an emotional impact to rival many of her peers.
Support slots with acts including C Duncan, Bryde and Betsy have followed in recent months whilst radio airplay from the likes of Huw Stephens (BBC Radio Wales) and Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music) has ensured Little Rêd’s reputation continues to grow significantly.
Produced by Mason Neely (Sufjan Stevens), What Love Is will be released on 17th May via Seahorse Music.
