One band that may be set to capitalise on the renewed interest in the punk genre following the untimely death of Tommy Ramone, the last surviving original member of cult group The Ramones, earlier this month is London four-piece CUT with their brand new single ‘Let’s Go’.
Released this Monday on RA RA ROK Records, ‘Let’s Go’ is a rollicking two-and-a-half minute punk-fest with enough energy and thumping riffage to appeal to even the most casual of rock enthusiasts.
It’s straight edge, hard-hitting rock n’ roll and if you’re not a fan of this corker then we don’t know what’s wrong with you.
They’re one of the brightest post-punk outfits we’ve come across so far this year. Refreshingly vintage.
