It’s Friday and it’s time to say a big thank you to Oliver Wilde for providing the perfect soundtrack to end our week.
‘Play & Be Saved’, the first track from the Bristol artist’s forthcoming new album, has certainly got us hooked with its soothing shoegaze vibes making it a firm favourite of ours here at Super Cat.
Of course we’re not the first to recognise his supreme talent with Cat From Japan and Scientists of Sound also quick to praise the first taste of his upcoming record, however we most definitely won’t be the last either.
Its sumptuous cocktail of intense riffage, fuzzy vocals and synth mystique make it one of the best psychedelic tracks released so far this year.
Wilde’s new album ‘Red Tide Opal In The Loose End Womb’ is out via Howling Owl Records on May 5th. We want more of the same.
