The Neighbourhood – Silver

We are back at our desks and raring to go. So many good things coming out from our end in early 2014. The long drawn out wait for a new Ninetails EP is finally over, the Burton massive AKA Ghost Twins and Kitten Pyramid have debut albums planned, YOUTH are armed with new tunes, and there’s several other things we are not allowed to tell you about just yet. But we will, soon.

So make sure you stick with us. Like us on facebook. or something.

I also wanted to mention that this blog aims to post things we love, that a good collection of blogs we love have also posted. In others words these are just our picks of what is buzzing online courtesy of the tastemakers. If you want to keep up with what we think are the best acts & tracks exciting the blogosphere, follow me on twitter. or something.

Does that makes sense? I’ve been off for too long.

Here’s to a wonderful 2014, and below is our latest pick.

– Kim Astley-Cooper

You’d be hard-pressed to find a track that’s taken the blogosphere by storm as much as this one in the last few weeks or so…

‘Silver’, the newest track from LA five-piece The Neighbourhood, sees the rockers take a fresh approach to their music with much more emphasis placed on the production side of things, resulting in a rather intriguing new sound.

The band have already achieved plenty of success in the States and look set to announce themselves in the UK early next year with dates supporting The 1975 and a new album The Black And The White on the horizon.

We can’t wait to hear more from this lot.
